Since inception, ECD has been a resource for entrepreneurs. Its small business lending and brokered technical assistance programs have assisted over 2,500 business ventures and entrepreneurs.
Through the Emerging Markets Partnership (EMP), ECD has also participated in a number of projects and trainings to expand the capacity of the region's enterprise development organizations. By partnering with local organizations and regional associations, ECD enhances the overall system in place to serve the region's upcoming and existing entrepreneurs.
